Reaching the Stars

Yesterday there is a footsal competition between civil engineer 2007 vs Law 2007.. It’s an old history that civil engineer always fought with Law in UnPar. So, this would be a great competition, whether in the game, also in supporting the players..

 

So, we planned to come and see the competition to support our players. Because we thought that Law’s players also had a lot of supporters for this semifinal competition..

 

Unfortunately, I couldn’t come to the court on time, because I had class until 4.00 p.m. So, I came about 4.30 p.m. and it had been 2nd game. They got same scores in the first game, so the second game was the decision to choose the winner..

 

We often supported them by shouting, “Civiiiill..!! Civiiill…!!” and when Law supporters shouted, we also shouted, so the Law supporter’s shout couldn’t be heard anymore.. it’s really very exciting! and it was a hard game too, because there was one of civil team got red card, and they got 3-3 when the time was over!

 

So, they had to do some penalty kicks to get the winner.. and it’s so hard! About 5-6 players from each team had to do the penalty kicks because the score often same again.. The supporters just silent and prayed because we didn’t want to disturb their concentration..

 

And finally, civil won!! we were so happy and then we sang loudly our Civil 2007 Song continuously.. we really felt like we have won the final competition..

 

Today, the final competition is held, Civil team vs FISIP team <or International Relationship major I think>. In about 10 minutes, FISIP team got 2 score.. We still support our players.. However I don’t know why, we couldn’t be as spirited as yesterday, and the players neither.. maybe because the rival wasn’t Law?

 

So.. In the end of the game the score was 7-1 with the FISIP team as the winner. Well.. we are very sad even the runner-up also get money as the prize.. But I admire them because they don’t want the money, they played just for having fun. and they give the prize for our fund holding our 2007 event that need a lot of money..
