Happy Valentine yaaa!! *even I was late to say that.. *

First.. I want to say sorry I couldn’t online, neither write a post nor blogwalking.. However as I said before, I’m away now.. It’s just because there are many things to do in this month..

Anyway.. due to mbak Eu requested, I would like to write about my Chinese New Year day..

6 February 2008, Wednesday

I had to wake up earlier, around 5 o’ clock.. And by a “Kijang”, we went to a church near our university because that day was “Hari Abu” (I don’t know in English.. ). We started about 6 o’clock. We chose that time because there were only 4 times that day, and we just could joined that time. And then I had to study from 8.00 a.m until 4.00 p.m..

Then, I went to a travel named Xtrans. I chose Blora, Jakarta as the termination. When I arrived, my parents immediately picked me up because we had dinner with families (I forgot the name of that restaurant.. /sob) It was a tradition in Chinese culture to have dinner before the Chinese New Year day. When we got there, I greeted my uncles, aunts, and cousins. And they also said happy birthday to me..

The food in there was very delicious and tasteful. And there was a singer in front of the room.. and around 8 or 9 o’clock (I don’t know exactly the time), there was a “barongsai” action. Barongsai was like a tiger, but it was not tiger.. We liked to watch it because they could play that “barongsai” very good. they could make that “barongsai” seem truly.

And after that, usually we gave them a red envelop and the barongsai would eat that. And sometimes, we played first with them, like we took back the envelop, or we stood on the chair and raised our hand so the barongsai had to jump to get the envelop.. However, there was a little funny thing when my cousin wanted to give the red envelop to the barongsai. That barongsai liked to play with me. I was a little shock when that barongsai touched my face because I didn’t see it before.. *dan aku kejedut sama barongsai nya 2x tapi kata mama sih artinya malah hoki.. *

7 February 2008, Thursday

I had to wake up earlier again because as every years ago, we would go to my mother’s family first. We went to my mother’s eldest sister (because my grandmother and my grandfather was already gone). My mother’s siblings were there already. And we were have fun in there, in addition, one of my cousin who taught a kindergarten liked to tell a lot of funny stories when she taught the children.. Also, one of my cousin who have been married, brought his 2-months-baby girl.. she was so cute.. but she cried continually (and after tried many things to make her stop crying, such as change her cloth, her pampers, etc, we realized that she was hungry.. ) After she drank the milk, she fell sleep! /otlAfter lunch, we went home, because my father’s family had already got there. my father’s family gathered in our house, because my grandmother (from dad) lived with us.. Then we had dinner at home..

I think on Chinese New Year day we have to eat “Pa cam ke” or white salty chicken.. I ate it 3 times..

8 February 2008, Friday

I wake up earlier agaaaain.. because I wanted to go back to Bandung. HuH! I annoy with my university.. they didn’t give us more holiday! So I have a class on 1.00 p.m that day..

However, I didn’t go by travel anymore, because my parents, my grandmother, my uncles and aunts, wanted to go to Bandung too. they wanted to visit my grandfather’s cousin (however, in fact they were same age with my father!). Hmm.. it made me become lazy.. I thought I would join them and hunt more red envelop..

Well.. we went to two houses.. the design were very cool! I like them.. We also see the baby (the grandson from my grandfather’s cousin).. he was just one month old.. and he was very cuteeeee! very little but he have fat cheek and he was very calm too.. he didn’t cry when we came crowded..

About 8 p.m. I went back to my small-room, and immediately went to university, because there was volley competition which we were the crews.. I went to there and brought some chocolates that liked coins, nastar, and dodol China.. And like haven’t ate 3 days, my friends were very happy and brutally took them..

10 February 2008, Sunday
I had to wake up earlier again.. because there was soccer competition in Lembang, Bandung. And I was very depressed because we were only 20 people of 139 people in my .. and because of that, we were very busy in there. Each people had double jobs.. And also it was very cold in there, because it was rain twice, morning and afternoon.. We were very depressed and angry with the others who didn’t come without any completely reason.. Well.. it was an internal problem, so I couldn’t tell it in here.. because it could be a long long story.. hehe..

Anyway, after we went back from Lembang, we ate in Pizza Hut for celebrating my birthday.. *of course the one who paid the food was me.. but no one gave me a gift * And each of us (just for girls) got a mouse-balloon and a dog-balloon..

Tapii.. pas dah di depan kos.. aku dicegat sama si Beryl, temen sebelah kos ku, dan ternyata aku diceplokin telor lagi!! 5 biji kali ini! sampe agak sakit juga kepalaku.. dah gitu mana itu jaket baru dan tas baru pula.. kena telor ga bisa ilang.. hikz.. trus gara” itu.. balon tikus-ku juga ilang!

Oh ya.. pagi ini aku shock bangeet!! waktu mau ngebuka gorden, ternyata ada belalang gede (sekitar 10 cm gitu) nangkring di atas gordenku! Langsung aja aku buru” manggil Mas yang bersihin tempat kos ku.. Tapi ga tau Mas nya tuh lagi apa, lama banget datengnya sampe aku manggil dia lagi.. Soalnya belalangnya dah mulai merangkak berjalan” ria..
