Reaching the Stars

Friday, 25 July 2008, I went to Surabaya by Lion Airlines. My parents forbid me to go there alone, so I went there with my baptism’s mother (and my mom’s friend too). I called her Iie Yani.

My boyfriend (I called Che) waited for us in Juanda airport and took us to Somerset Hotel. We stayed in there for two days. This hotel have four star.  Eventhough we got “smoking area” room and we couldn’t move in to “no smoking area” room because the hotel was full, but the room was very comfortable    

First day.. we visited My mom’s other friend who live in Surabaya. She is also Iie Yani’s friend and I called her Iie Yen Fong. Iie Yani just stayed in Surabaya for two days, so I would stay in Iie Yen Fong’s house for three days more. Then I had dinner with Che in Pakuwon Trade Centre (PTC).

Second day.. This day was Che’s birthday.. We went to Tunjungan Plaza (TP) after having breakfast and giving him a gift. After taking a nap for a while in hotel, I went to Che’s house and met his parents *I was very nervous*      Then we (Iie Yani, Che, Che’s mom, and me) went to church and had dinner in a chinese food restaurant. We tried special food from Surabaya, Ote-Ote.. 

Third day.. after checking out from Hotel, we took Iie Yani to airport because she would go back to Jakarta.  Then we ate at Ikan Bakar Cianjur, went to Carrefour, and stayed at Che’s house. Then I had dinner with Che’s family at G-walk. 

Fourth day.. we went to TP again from about 11.30 a.m until 9.30 p.m.   /hohoho    We ate ice cream at Moncheri, watching The Dark Knight at XXI, had lunch at Sushitei, walked around from TP 1 to TP 3 (we didn’t go to TP 4 because it’s only Sogo) , watched *again* Hancock at Cinema 21, had dinner (I forgot what is the name of that restaurant), bought some clothes and accessories, and went home.. We felt very tired and slept earlier    

Fifth day.. I followed Che to his university, UK Petra. Then we just spent our time at Che’s house and Che cooked Ayam Cabe Kering for dinner..  

Sixth day.. This was my last day in Surabaya.        I said goodbye and left Iie Yen Fong’s house at 10.00 a.m. Then I went to Che’s house because Che gave me some snacks, such as Ote-Ote, Pastel Tutup, and cake.. And I needed to pack them.. Actually, all of those snacks couldn’t be packed in my luggage, so I had to carry those heavy snacks to the aeroplane..      After having lunch at Pro-Steak, we went to Juanda Airport and I went back to Jakarta..  

However, because my narcissism wasn’t in “mode on” , so I didn’t take any photos..     And now.. I got flu!
